Set-Up Guide
ENGLISH
Overview
This guide will help you set up your Bell
Entertainment Remote Control as a Uni-
versal Remote Control. This means you can
link up to four dierent devices (including
the receiver) and use just one remote to
control them all. If you do not wish to use
this remote control for other devices, you
can refer to the Getting Started guide for
instructions on how to use it for the Bell
Entertainment console only.
Installing Batteries
The remote control requires two AA size
(1.5V) batteries to work. Alkaline batteries
are required for the proper functioning of
this remote.
Tips: replace the batteries every nine months
for optimum performance.
1. On the back of the remote control, press
the battery cover tab and remove the
battery cover.
2. Insert two (2) AA-size batteries, match-
ing the + and – symbols with the bat-
tery diagrams inside the battery com-
partment.
3. Close the battery compartment with
the battery cover. Test the remote con-
trol by pressing the Bell key. The Bell
key should light up to indicate that bat-
teries are inserted properly.
Controlling Other Devices
In order to control other devices with your
4:1 Entertainment Remote Control, you
need to tell the remote control what types
of devices you have. Section 1 brings you
through the steps needed to do this. When
you do this, the volume and channels will
always work on the receiver no matter what
mode you are in. If you want to change this
or allow the POWER key to aect multiple
devices, you can also follow the steps in
Section 2. Sections 3 and 4 are optional if
you want to reset any of the settings.
1. Programming the remote to
control other devices
To use the remote control for your other
devices, you will need to program the
TV, DVD and AUX mode keys to control
the devices (section A). Please refer to
the Manufacture Code List, found in this
manual, for a list of supported brands and
models. If you have an integrated or com-
bination unit, such as a TV/DVD unit, each
component of the unit will normally be
programmed separately. If your device is
not supported, you will need to use section
B, “Using the Automatic Search”.
Note:
The AUX may be programmed to operate a
VCR, Home Theater In the Box (HTIB), AM/FM
Tuner or amplier.
A. Manual Programming
Use the following steps to program the TV,
DVD and AUX mode keys:
1. Power on the device you want to pro-
gram.
2. Locate the 4-digit set up code for the
device you want to program from the
Manufacture Code List in this manual.
3. Press and hold the appropriate mode
key (TV, DVD or AUX) on the remote
control.
4. Without releasing the chosen mode key,
press and hold the SELECT key simulta-
neously.
5. Release both the mode key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys should ash twice.
6. Enter the 4-digit set up code by press-
ing the number keys (0-9) on the re-
mote control
– The mode key will ash three times
indicating correct entry and return to
normal operation.
– When an invalid code is entered, the
selected mode key will give a long ash
to indicate that you have not entered
the set up code correctly.
– Should the remote control time-out
before you complete the code setup,
you will need to start over.
7. Point the remote control at the pro-
grammed device and press the POWER
key on the remote once.
– The device should turn o.
– If it does not turn o, repeat steps 2
through 6 trying each code for your
brand until you nd the correct code.
8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 to program
another device.
Now that your devices are programmed,
you can press the appropriate mode (TV,
DVD or AUX) key on the remote control
to work with the selected device. To use
the remote control for your receiver again,
press the Bell mode key.
B. Using the Automatic Search
You can search the remote control mem-
ory for your 4-digit manufacture device
code. Also use this function if the code for
your device is not listed in the Manufacture
Code List.
1. Turn on the device you wish to pro-
gram.
2. Point the remote control at the device.
3. Press and hold the mode key (i.e. TV,
DVD or AUX) you want to program.
4. Without releasing the selected mode
key, press and hold the SELECT key si-
multaneously.
5. Release both the mode key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating programming mode.
6. Enter 922 by pressing the number keys
on the remote control.
– The selected mode key will ash
twice, indicating correct entry (For AUX
searching only, press and release the
PLAY key, then press:
1 for VCR
2 for AM/FM Tuner
3 for Amplier
4 for Home Theater In The Box (HTIB)
– The AUX mode keys will ash twice,
indicating correct entry
7. Press and hold the PLAY key and wait
until the device turns o, then release
the PLAY key.
– The REW key can be utilized to go
back through the codes one at a time.
– The FF key can be utilized to move for-
ward through the codes one at a time.
– Press the PLAY key to resume auto
search of device codes.
8. To save the code, press the ENTER key
on the remote control (bottom right) or
press the EXIT key to return to normal
operations.
– The selected mode key will ash three
times and return to normal operations.
9. If no valid code is found, the green back-
light will ash 2 times, and the remote
control will return to normal operation.
10.Turn the device back on and use the
remote to control your device. Now
that your devices are programmed, you
can press the appropriate mode key on
the remote control to work with the se-
lected device. To use the remote control
for your receiver again, press the Bell
mode key.
– You may need to repeat steps 1
through 8 to nd a code.
Note:
– If any other key is pressed except PLAY,
ENTER, POWER, EXIT, REW, FF, or number
keys 1 to 4, the selected mode key will give
a long red ash (error message), the remote
control will return to normal operation, and
you will need to start over.
– If you are interrupted while you are pro-
gramming, the remote control may time-out
before you complete the code setup and you
will need to start over. This is indicated by a
single red ash for all the mode LEDs.
2. Setting up your Volume, Chan-
nel and Power Options
The defaults, for your power, volume and
channel control, are that they always send
the codes to the receiver no matter what
mode you are in. Thus, in DVD mode, the
volume still controls the receiver, etc.
If you would like to change this, follow
these instructions:
A. Volume Control Set Up Options
The volume commands are always sent to
the receiver until the TV mode key is pro-
grammed. Then the volume commands are
sent to the TV from all mode keys. If you’d
like the volume commands to still be sent
to just one device, but that it be a dierent
device (for example a home theater setup),
then follow the instructions in Section I.
If you’d like the volume commands sent
to dierent devices depending on which
mode you are in, then go to Section II.
I. Volume Always Controls the Same Device
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key simultane-
ously.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating programming mode.
4. Enter 955 by pressing the number keys
on the remote control.
– The Bell key will ash twice, indicating
correct entry.
5. Press the mode key that you want to
always receive the volume commands.
– The selected mode key will ash three
times, indicating successful assignment,
and return to normal operation.
The volume commands will now go to the
selected device no matter what mode
you are in.
II. Volume Control Depends on Device
Selected
The volume setting can also be re–cong-
ured to independently control the volume
associated with each device. (E.g. In AUX
mode, the receiver controls the audio; In
TV mode, the TV controls the audio).
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key simultane-
ously.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating programming mode.
4. Enter 955 by pressing the number keys
on the remote control.
– The Bell key will ash twice, indicating
correct entry.
5. Press the ENTER key.
– The Bell key will ash three times,
indicating successful assignment, and
returns to normal operations.
B. Channel Selection Set Up Option
By default, the remote control will always
send channel commands to the receiver
no matter what mode you are in. This will
prevent accidental TV channel changes
while in TV, DVD or AUX modes.
Channel Selection can also be re-cong-
ured to independently send channel com-
mands to dierent devices depending on
what mode you are in, (e.g., In Bell mode,
the remote sends channel commands to
the receiver; In TV mode, the remote sends
channel commands to the television), to
do this, follow these instructions:
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key simultane-
ously.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating programming mode.
4. Enter 966 by pressing the number keys
on the remote control.
– The Bell key will ash twice, indicating
correct entry.
5. Press the device mode key that you
wish to provide channel control.
6. Press the ENTER key.
– The Bell key will ash three times,
indicating successful assignment, and
return to normal operation.
Note:
If you press any key other than the mode keys
or ENTER, the Bell key will give a long red
ash, and the remote control will return to
normal operation. Should the remote control
time-out before you complete the procedure,
you will need to start over.
C. Power Control Set Up Options
By default, the POWER key only powers
ON or places your receiver in STAND BY
mode. If you have programmed the TV
mode key, then the TV and receiver will
both be powered ON/OFF simultaneously.
You also have the option to turn ON/OFF
the TV, DVD and AUX mode devices indi-
vidually by pressing the applicable mode
key then, the POWER key.
To Have Multiple Devices Power O with
the Power Key
If you would like other devices to be pow-
ered ON/OFF simultaneously with the
POWER key, then follow these instructions
for the additional devices (for a total of 4,
including the receiver).
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key simultane-
ously.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating programming mode.
4. Enter 977 by pressing the number keys
on the remote control.
– The Bell key will ash twice, indicating
correct entry.
5. Press the Bell key on the remote con-
trol.
– The Bell key will ash twice, indicating
correct entry.
6. Press the TV key on the remote control.
– The TV key will ash twice, indicating
correct entry.
7. Press each additional mode key that you
wish to include such as the DVD key or
AUX key.
– The selected mode key will ash twice,
indicating correct entry.
– If you want to include both mode keys
repeat step 7 selecting the other mode
key.
8. Press the ENTER key to complete.
– The last mode key selected will ash
three times, indicating successful as-
signment, and return to normal opera-
tions.
Note:
If you press any key other than the mode keys
or ENTER, the Bell key will give a long red
ash and the remote control will return to
normal operation. Should the remote control
time-out before you complete the procedure,
you will need to start over.
If the devices that you have programmed to
turn ON/OFF at the same time get out of sync
so that some turn ON and others turn OFF, you
will need to manually turn OFF the out of sync
devices and then press the POWER key on the
remote control to turn them all back ON. It is
important to point the remote directly toward
the devices for this to work properly.
To change the number of devices controlled
by the POWER key, you must start at Step 1
and continue until all desired devices have
been programmed.
3. Changing and Removing Codes
A. Mode Deactivation
To deactivate a mode key, follow these
steps:
1. Press and hold the appropriate mode
key (TV, DVD or AUX) on the remote
control.
2. Without releasing the chosen mode key,
press and hold the SELECT key simulta-
neously.
3. Release both the mode key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys should ash twice.
4. Enter the appropriate 4-digit code from
the list below depending on the mode
you are deactivating:
– TV 1254
– DVD 2254
– AUX 3254
– The mode key will ash three times,
indicating correct entry, and return to
normal operation.
– When an invalid code is entered, the
selected mode key will give a long ash
to indicate that you have not entered
the code correctly.
– Should the remote control time-out
before you complete the setup, you will
need to start over.
B. Reassigning Your Mode Keys To
Another Device
The TV, DVD and AUX keys are already set
up to control specic devices:
TV key: TV & HDTV
DVD key: DVD
AUX key: VCR, Home Theater In The
Box (HTIB), AM/FM Tuner and Ampli-
ers
You may reassign these mode keys to op-
erate another type of device. For example,
you can control a second DVD player in
AUX mode, the same way you control the
rst DVD player in DVD mode.
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key simultane-
ously.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating programming mode.
4. Enter 944 by pressing the number keys
on the remote control.
– All the mode keys will ash twice, indi-
cating correct entry.
5. Press the mode key (i.e., TV, DVD or
AUX) for the device you would like to
reassign (see list above).
– The selected mode key will ash
once.
6. Press the mode key you would like to
reassign the device to.
– The selected mode key will ash three
times, indicating successful reassign-
ment, and return to normal operations.
Note:
If any other key is pressed except the mode
keys, the Bell key will give a long red ash
and the remote control will return to normal
operation.
Should the remote control time-out before
you complete the procedure, you will need
to start over.
4. Resetting the Remote
A. To the Factory Default Settings:
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– all four mode keys will ash twice, to
indicate programming mode.
4. Enter programming code 900 by press-
ing the number keys on the remote
control.
– The Bell key will ash three times, in-
dicating you have successfully entered
the code and the remote has been reset
to the factory default settings.
Note:
If any other key is pressed except the number
keys, the Bell key will give a long red ash
and the remote control will return to normal
operation.
Should the remote control time-out before
you complete the procedure, you will need
to start over.
B. Resetting the Volume, Channel
and Power Programming:
1. Press and hold the Bell key on the re-
mote control.
2. Without releasing the Bell key, press
and hold the SELECT key.
3. Release both the Bell key and the SE-
LECT key.
– all four mode keys will ash twice to
indicate programming mode.
4. Enter programming code 902 by press-
ing the number keys on the remote
control.
– The Bell key will ash three times in-
dicating you have successfully entered
the code to set all of the mode keys as
inactive and the remote will return to
normal operation.
Note:
If any other key is pressed except the number
keys, the Bell key will give a long red ash
and the remote control will return to normal
operation.
Should the remote control time-out before
you complete the procedure, you will need
to start over.

reils au moyen de la télécommande, du
service Bell Divertissement vous devez
entrer dans la télécommande quels types
d’appareils vous possédez. Pour ce faire,
suivez la procédure décrite à la section 1.
Si vous programmez la télécommande de
cette façon, les touches de volume et de
sélection des chaînes de la télécommande
continueront de fonctionner pour le ré-
cepteur, peu importe le mode sélectionné.
Pour modier cette caractéristique ou uti-
liser la touche « POWER » pour allumer et
éteindre plusieurs appareils, exécutez les
instructions de la section 2. Les sections 3

1. Programmation de la télécom-

programmé et appuyez une fois sur
la touche « POWER » de la télécom-
mande.
– L’appareil s’éteint.
– S’il ne s’éteint pas, répétez les étapes
2 à 6 en essayant chaque code de la
marque de l’appareil jusqu’à ce que
vous trouviez le bon code.
8. Répétez les étapes 1 à 7 pour program-
mer un autre appareil.
Une fois vos appareils programmés, vous
pouvez appuyer sur la touche de mode ap-
propriée (TV, DVD ou AUX) de la télécom-
mande pour faire fonctionner l’appareil
sélectionné. Pour utiliser la télécommande
avec votre récepteur, appuyez sur la tou-
che de mode Bell.
B. Recherche automatique
Vous pouvez chercher dans la mémoire de
la télécommande le code à 4 chires du
fabricant. Cette fonction est aussi utile si
le code de votre appareil ne se trouve pas
dans la liste des codes des fabricants.

(TV, DVD ou AUX) que vous voulez
programmer.

5. Relâchez la touche de mode et la tou-
che « SELECT ».
– Toutes les touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois pour indiquer que le mode
programmation a été activé.
6. Entrez 922 à l’aide des touches
numériques de la télécommande.
– La touche de mode choisie clignote
trois fois si l’entrée est correcte.
Pour eectuer une recherche pour le
mode AUX seulement, appuyez sur la

jusqu’à ce que l’appareil s’éteigne.
– La touche « REW » peut être utilisée

– La touche « FF » peut être utilisée pour

bas.
– Appuyez sur la touche « PLAY » pour

8. Pour enregistrer le code, appuyez sur la
touche « ENTER » de la télécommande
(en bas, à droite) ou appuyez sur la tou-
che « EXIT » pour retourner au mode de
fonctionnement normal.
– La touche de mode choisie clignote
trois fois et la télécommande retourne
au mode de fonctionnement normal.
9. Si aucun code valide n’est trouvé, le
rétroéclairage vert clignote deux fois et
la télécommande retourne au mode de
fonctionnement normal.
10.Rallumez l’appareil et utilisez la télé-
commande pour le faire fonctionner.
Maintenant que vos appareils sont
programmés, vous pouvez appuyer sur
la touche de mode appropriée de la
télécommande pour faire fonctionner
l’appareil de votre choix.
Pour utiliser la télécommande avec vo-
tre récepteur, appuyez sur la touche de
mode Bell.
– Il est possible que vous deviez répéter
les étapes 1 à 8 pour trouver un code.
Note :
Si une touche autre que « PLAY », « ENTER
», « POWER », « EXIT », « REW », « FF » ou les
touches numériques 1 à 4 est enfoncée, la
touche de mode sélectionnée émet un long
clignotement rouge (message d’erreur), la
télécommande retourne au mode de fonc-
tionnement normal et vous devez recom-
mencer le processus.
Si vous êtes interrompu et n’avez pas terminé
la programmation dans le délai de réponse,
vous devez alors recommencer. Toutes les
touches de mode clignotent une fois en rouge
pour vous aviser que le délai est dépassé.
2. Programmation des options de
volume, de sélection des chaînes
et de mise sous tension
Par défaut, les touches de mise sous ten-
sion, de volume et de sélection des chaînes
envoient toujours les codes au récepteur,
peu importe le mode sélectionné. Ainsi,
même si vous sélectionnez le mode DVD
par exemple, les touches de volume con-
tinuent de contrôler le volume du récep-
teur.
Pour modier cette caractéristique, suivez
les instructions cidessous.
A. Options de réglage du volume
Les touches de volume contrôlent seule-
ment le volume du récepteur jusqu’à ce
que la touche de mode TV soit program-
mée. Les commandes de volume sont al-
ors envoyées à la télévision, peu importe le
mode sélectionné. Si vous voulez que les
commandes de volume soient envoyées
à un seul appareil, mais pas à la télévision
(à un système de cinéma maison, par ex-
emple), suivez les instructions de la section
1. Si vous voulez que les commandes de
volume soient envoyées aux diérents ap-
pareils selon le mode sélectionné, reportez
vous à la section II.

3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT ».

II. Les touches de volume fonctionnent avec

programmées pour régler le volume de
chacun des appareils. (Par exemple, en
mode Bell, le récepteur contrôle le son; en
mode TV, la télévision contrôle le son.)
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche Bell de
la télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche Bell, maintenez
enfoncée la touche « SELECT ».
3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT
».
– Toutes les touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois pour indiquer que le mode
programmation a été activé.
4. Entrez 955 à l’aide des touches

B. Option de programmation de la
sélection des chaînes
Par défaut, la télécommande envoie tou-
jours les commandes de sélection des
chaînes au récepteur, peu importe le mode
sélectionné. Cette caractéristique prévient
les changements de chaîne non désirés
lorsque les modes TV, DVD ou AUX sont
sélectionnés.
La sélection des chaînes peut aussi être
programmée pour envoyer des com-
mandes à diérents appareils selon le
mode sélectionné. (Par exemple, en mode
Bell, la télécommande envoie les com-
mandes de sélection au récepteur; en
mode TV, elle envoie ces commandes à
la télévision). Pour activer cette fonction,
suivez les instructions cidessous.
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche Bell de
la télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche Bell, maintenez
enfoncée la touche « SELECT ».
3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT
».

spondant à l’appareil auquel les com-
mandes de sélection de chaînes seront
envoyées.

indiquer que l’attribution est réussie et
la télécommande retourne au mode de
fonctionnement normal.
Note :
Si une touche autre que les touches de mode
ou « ENTER » est enfoncée, la touche Bell
émet un long clignotement rouge et la télé-
commande retourne au mode de fonction-
nement normal. Si le délai de réponse de la
télécommande est écoulé avant que vous
ayez terminé la procédure, vous devez recom-
mencer.
C. Options de programmation de la
touche de mise sous tension
Par défaut, la touche « POWER » n’allume
que votre récepteur ou le met en mode
veille. Si vous avez programmé la touche
de mode TV, la télévision et le récepteur
s’allument et s’éteignent en même temps.
Il est aussi possible d’allumer et d’éteindre
les appareils correspondant aux modes TV,
DVD et AUX séparément en appuyant sur
la touche de mode appropriée, puis sur la
touche « POWER ».
Éteindre plusieurs appareils au moyen de la
touche Power
Si vous voulez que d’autres appareils
s’allument ou s’éteignent en même temps
au moyen de la touche « POWER », suivez
les instructions indiquées ci-dessous pour
les appareils supplémentaires (pour un
maximum de quatre appareils, y compris
le récepteur).
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche Bell de
la télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche Bell, maintenez
enfoncée la touche « SELECT ».
3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT
».
– Toutes les touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois pour indiquer que le mode
programmation a été activé.
4. Entrez 977 à l’aide des touches
numériques de la télécommande.
– La touche Bell clignote deux fois si
l’entrée est correcte.
5. Appuyez sur la touche Bell de la télé-
commande.
– La touche Bell clignote deux fois si
l’entrée est correcte.
6. Appuyez sur la touche TV de la télé-
commande.
– La touche TV clignote deux fois si
l’entrée est correcte.
7. Appuyez sur chacune des touches de
mode supplémentaires que vous voulez
inclure, comme les touches DVD ou
AUX.
– La touche de mode sélectionnée
clignote deux fois si l’entrée est cor-
recte.
– Si vous voulez inclure les deux touches
de mode, répétez l’étape 7 en appuyant
sur la deuxième touche de mode.
8. Appuyez sur la touche « ENTER » pour
terminer.
– La dernière touche de mode sélec-
tionnée clignote trois fois pour indiquer
que l’attribution est réussie et la télé-
commande retourne au mode de fonc-
tionnement normal.
Note :
Si une touche autre que les touches de mode
ou « ENTER » est enfoncée, la touche Bell
émet un long clignotement rouge et la télé-
commande retourne au mode de fonction-
nement normal. Si le délai de réponse de la
télécommande est écoulé avant que vous

Si les appareils que vous avez programmés
an qu’ils s’allument et s’éteignent simultané-
ment
sont désynchronisés, c’est-à-dire que cer-
tains s’allument et d’autres s’éteignent, il faut
éteindre manuellement tous les appareils
désynchronisés, puis appuyez sur la touche «
POWER » de la télécommande pour les ral-
lumer. Il est important de pointer la télécom-
mande directement vers les appareils pour
qu’elle fonctionne bien.
Pour changer le nombre d’appareils com-
mandés par la touche « POWER », vous
devez recommencer l’étape 1 et continuer
jusqu’à ce que tous les appareils choisis soient
programmés.
3. Modication et suppression
de codes
A. Désactivation d’une touche de
mode
Pour désactiver une touche de mode,
suivez les étapes suivantes.
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche de mode
sélectionnée (TV, DVD ou AUX) sur la
télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche de mode sélec-
tionnée, maintenez enfoncée la touche
« SELECT ».
3. Relâchez la touche de mode et la tou-
che « SELECT ».
– Toutes les touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois.
4. Entrez le code à 4 chires approprié
(voir la liste), selon le mode que vous
voulez désactiver :
– TV 1254
– DVD 2254
– AUX 3254
– La dernière touche de mode sélec-
tionnée clignote trois fois pour indiquer
que l’attribution est réussie et la télé-
commande retourne au mode de fonc-
tionnement normal.
– Si le code entré est non valide, la tou-
che du mode sélectionné émet un long
clignotement pour indiquer que vous
n’avez pas entré le code correctement.
– Si le délai de réponse de la télécom-
mande est écoulé avant que vous ayez
terminé la procédure, vous devez re-
commencer.
B. Réattribution des touches de
mode à un autre appareil
Les touches TV, DVD et AUX sont déjà pro-
grammées pour faire fonctionner des ap-
pareils spéciques :
Touche TV : télévision et TVHD
Touche DVD : lecteur DVD
Touche AUX : magnétoscope, système
de cinéma maison, syntoniseur AM/FM
et amplicateurs
Il est possible de réassigner ces touches
de mode pour faire fonctionner un autre
type d’appareil. Par exemple, vous pouvez
faire fonctionner un deuxième lecteur DVD
à l’aide du mode AUX, de la même façon
que vous faites fonctionner le premier lect-
eur de DVD à l’aide du mode DVD.
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche Bell de
la télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche Bell, maintenez
enfoncée la touche « SELECT ».
3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT
».
– Toutes les touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois pour indiquer que le mode
programmation a été activé.
4. Entrez 944 à l’aide des touches
numériques de la télécommande.
– Les touches de mode clignotent deux
fois si l’entrée est correcte.
5. Appuyez sur la touche de mode
(TV, DVD ou AUX) correspondant à
l’appareil que vous voulez réattribuer
(voir la liste ci-dessus).
– La touche de mode sélectionnée
clignote une fois.
6. Appuyez sur la touche de mode à
laquelle vous voulez attribuer l’appareil.
– La touche de mode sélectionnée
clignote trois fois pour indiquer que la
réattribution est réussie et la télécom-
mande retourne au mode de fonction-
nement normal.
Note :
Si une touche autre que les touches de mode
est enfoncée, la touche Bell émet un long
clignotement rouge et la télécommande re-
tourne au mode de fonctionnement normal.
Si le délai de réponse de la télécommande est
écoulé avant que vous ayez terminé la procé-
dure, vous devez recommencer.
4. Réinitialisation de la télécom-
mande
A. Paramètres par défaut du
fabricant
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche Bell de
la télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche Bell, maintenez
enfoncée la touche « SELECT ».
3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT
».
– Les quatre touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois pour indiquer que le mode
programmation a été activé.
4. Entrez le code de programmation 900
à l’aide des touches numériques de la
télécommande.
– La touche Bell clignote trois fois pour
indiquer que vous avez bien entré le
code et que la télécommande a été
réinitialisée aux paramètres par défaut
du fabricant.
Note :
Si une touche autre que les touches
numériques est enfoncée, la touche Bell émet
un long clignotement rouge et la télécom-
mande retourne au mode de fonctionnement
normal. Si le délai de réponse de la télécom-
mande s’écoule avant que vous ayez terminé
la procédure, vous devez recommencer.
B. Réinitialisation des paramètres
du volume, des chaînes et de la mise
sous tension
1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche Bell de
la télécommande.
2. Sans relâcher la touche Bell, maintenez
enfoncée la touche « SELECT ».
3. Relâchez les touches Bell et « SELECT
».
– Les quatre touches de mode clignote-
nt deux fois pour indiquer que le mode
programmation a été activé.
4. Entrez le code de programmation 902
à l’aide des touches numériques de la
télécommande.
– La touche Bell clignote trois fois pour
indiquer que vous avez bien entré le
code approprié pour désactiver toutes
les touches de mode, puis la télécom-
mande retourne au mode de fonction-
nement normal.
Note :
Si une touche autre que les touches
numériques est enfoncée, la touche Bell émet
un long clignotement rouge et la télécom-
mande retourne au mode de fonctionnement
normal. Si le délai de réponse de la télécom-
mande s’écoule avant que vous ayez terminé
la procédure, vous devez recommencer.

votre télécommande du service Bell Diver-
tissement pour l’utiliser comme une télé-
commande universelle. Ainsi, vous pourrez
faire fonctionner jusqu’à quatre appareils
